The view on my morning walk. Taken from the fairgrounds
Sometimes Heber drives me crazy. It can be a pretty redneck town. Also the Mormons individually are cool but as a whole I don’t agree with what they’re doing to the town.
But I love the place. It’s really beautiful. This is a photo I took this morning while walking Sprocket. Read More

I went to the orthapaedist yesterday and basically he told me I have a choice to have surgery or not. It turns out that my injury will heal on it’s own the only drawback being that I will have some “weakness” down the road according to the doctor. I am not sure what this really means and in these unfortunate times of lawyers sueing the pants off anything they can get their filthy dickbeaters on it is next to impossible to get a straight opinion of a medical professional.

OUCH! This does hurt!!! Can't wait for the yellow phase...
Anyway. The choice boils down to letting it heal and I guess my muscle will be “short” It’s my understanding that I really will not notice too much but it may be an inconvience when I am say… snowboarding. The flip-side is get the surgery which in itself is a risk and things may be better. I am leaning towards no surgery. The only question which remains unanswered is can I get the surgery later if things don’t heal up right. I have a call in with the Doc and I am awaiting his response. Meanwhile I am learing this blogging business and I will try to post a nice photo of my bruised ass for all the world.

Shit. Only word I can think of right now. I recently crashed my motorcycle. Actually I layed it down in the mud and snow going maybe 10 to 15 mph. (I’ll post this story in another blog entry soon. I also told my friend Thomas I would post it on http://itsallaboutthebike.com) so it should be up soon. Anyway, as a result of the wipe-out I messed up my leg. I’ve been hobbling around for a few days with a cane eating loads of pain pills.

This was taken right after my crash. I am cringing like a MF. As seen, the road was snot.
This morning I finally got in for an MRI and this evening my Doc called with bad news. I’ve torn my Hamstring Tendon from the bone on the top of my Femur. This leads to surgery. Tomorrow I hopefully will meet with the Orthopaedist and find out how all of this is going to go down. I suppose on the positive side I’ll have loads of time to blog and I’ve always wanted to learn the guitar.
